Book entitled "A Directory of the Piasecki/Boeing-Vertol H-21 Helicopter"
A detailed individual directory of all known HRP-2, H-21 and Vertol Series 40 helicopters produced.
Similar to my previous work on the "Birdlip Radio Station" book, this particular project has taken another five years of research for its completion.
This directory contains 370 pages, with over 50 black and white images and attempts to cover the individual service history of all 742 helicopters of this twin rotor genre. In addition, I have included an outline of its design, development and distribution amongst both military and civil operators.
The individual aircraft details are sorted by their initially allocated tail-numbers but a cross-reference index is provided to facilitate search requirements on any subsequent identities. There is also a complete Index listed in construction number (c/n) sequence as well as an inventory of those helicopters that were known to have been stored in the MASDC, Davis Monthan, AZ.
Naturally for a book weighing just over 1Kg, postage costs are an issue but I have tried to keep prices as low as possible. The following table of prices all include post and packing and are valid from January 2025.
